Modi again saw Urban Naxal, understand why and to whom did PM say this
#News Bureau, October 31,2024
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on the occasion of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas or National Unity Day celebrations, said that some forces, fearful of India’s growing strength and unity, want to spread anarchy. They want to destabilise India’s economy and deter global investors. He called upon every patriot to identify and combat these “urban Naxals”. These people, who target the country’s unity, are agents of discord.
PM Modi has often mentioned urban Naxalites during elections. At present, assembly elections are going on in Maharashtra and Jharkhand. Modi again mentioned urban Naxalites. He also took the name of tribal leader Birsa Munda and said how the tribals fought for independence from the British. But then he linked urban Naxalites to the attempt to weaken India economically. This statement of Modi is important. Because the Leader of Opposition and Congress have recently released three videos attacking the nexus of Adani Group-Madhabi Puri Buch and SEBI.
Although PM Modi did not name any urban Naxal, his reference is towards Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Recently, BJP has tried to portray Rahul Gandhi as a leader with leftist ideology and sometimes as a leader with socialist ideology. But Modi’s statement on Thursday made it clear that if any person speaks against the economic policy of Modi government or as per Congress, against Adani Group, then he will be called anti-national. He will be called urban Naxal.
One country one election also mentioned: Prime Minister Narendra Modi mentioned one country one election on National Unity Day. Modi said- My government is working towards achieving ‘one nation one election’ which will ensure simultaneous elections for the Lok Sabha and state assemblies.
Modi said- “…we are now working towards one country one election, which will strengthen India’s democracy, make the best use of India’s resources and give the country new momentum in achieving the dream of a developed India. Today India is moving towards one nation, one civil code i.e. a secular civil code.”
