Protests have started in many cities in America against President Trump, billionaire industrialist and currently Trump’s advisor Elon Musk. The protesters allege that both of them are bent on destroying America together. Under the pressure of these protests, the Trump administration has made it clear that Elon Musk is only an advisor to the President, he has no ability to take decisions. He is not even an officer/employee of DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency i.e. DOGE).

On Monday, there was severe cold in America and people were shouting slogans in many cities – “No King on President’s Day” or We do not want a king. It is reported that the protesters tried to enter the Arizona Statehouse to protest.

Hundreds of protesters in Florida and California protested under the “Not My Presidents Day” theme. It was organized by the 50501 Movement with the theme “No Kings”. This is the second round of protests across the US in less than two weeks. Similar nationwide protests were held in dozens of cities on February 5. Trump and his billionaire advisor Elon Musk were condemned in rallies being held in many cities. Musk is giving many suggestions to cut government expenditure and people are calling it anti-American.

In Boston, about 1,000 people marched through snow-filled streets from the Statehouse to City Hall, chanting “Elon Musk must go.” Temperatures in the city were below zero. Boston protesters, some wearing Revolutionary War-style clothing, carried signs that read “This is a coup” and “Cowards bow to Trump, patriots stand up.” One sign depicted Uncle Sam saying “I want you to resist.”

Similar demonstrations have taken place in state capitals and major cities, including Orlando, Florida; and Seattle. Protesters said they were out in the streets to protest “the illegal actions of the Trump administration and its moneyed anti-democratic cronies.”
In Phoenix, hundreds of protesters gathered outside the Capitol and carried signs that read “No Kings” and “Resist Fascism.” Security guards prevented protesters from entering the building after some tried to break in. The protesters were demanding to attend a state Senate committee hearing discussing legislation that would require law enforcement officers across the state to support federal immigration policy.

Trump administration’s clarification regarding Musk The White House said on Monday that billionaire Elon Musk is not in a decision-making role in the Trump administration. His role is as a White House employee and senior adviser to the President, and he is not an employee of DOGE. He has no decision-making authority. Joshua Fisher, director of the Office of Administration at the White House, said Musk can only advise the President. He said that “like other senior advisers to the White House, Musk himself has no real or formal authority to make government decisions.” Tesla’s entry in India According to a Bloomberg report, Elon Musk’s Tesla is trying to make its place in India. The Tesla chief recently had a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This meeting took place when PM went to the US to meet Trump. It is only after this meeting that Tesla has announced 13 jobs in India. This major company of the auto sector has reported jobs for 13 positions on its LinkedIn page. Most of the jobs are in Mumbai and Delhi. Let us tell you that Tesla makes electric vehicles (EVs). Elon Musk and Prime Minister Modi met on February 13. This was the first official visit of the Indian PM to the US after Trump became President. Musk is now a key figure in the Trump administration and is giving a lot of advice.

Tesla and India have had an “off-and-on” relationship for years. Tesla’s main concern has been import duties. However, India has now reduced the basic customs duty (BCD) on luxury vehicles costing more than $40,000 from 110 per cent to 70 per cent.
