RSS Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale while addressing the media before the conclusion of the All India Executive Board meeting held in Mathura said, “Hindus should remain united. Hindu unity is necessary in the society. Efforts are being made to divide Hindus on the basis of caste and ideology and we should be alert to this. The RSS Executive Board meeting was held at Gau Vigyan Research and Training Center Farah in Mathura.

When journalists asked Hosabale about UP CM Yogi Adityanath’s slogan ‘Bantoge to Katoge’, he said that we have to bring that slogan into our conduct. RSS is also talking about the unity of Hindus. This is necessary for Hindu unity and public welfare. This statement of RSS has come at a time when the opposition is demanding caste census in the country. But RSS and BJP are not able to say anything openly despite being against caste census. That is why they are now talking about Hindu unity and opposing the division of castes.

Hosabale said, “If the Hindu community is not united, it will be divided. If we discriminate on the basis of caste, language and other divisions, we will be divided. Therefore unity is necessary. The unity of Hindus is for public welfare and it will bring happiness to everyone.”

In a reference to the atrocities being committed against Hindus in Bangladesh, he said, “The Indian government has provided assistance to the minority community. The Sangh has also insisted that the Hindu community there should stay there. They should not migrate. There is also a Shakti Peeth there and that area has contributed significantly to our history as a Hindu nation. We want Hindus to stay there, but their safety must be ensured. They have been suffering for 20 years and the Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh is there to support them, and will continue to do so.”
He informed that the meeting discussed the ‘Panch Parivartan’ programme for the benefit of society. The programme includes five major points for social change: Samajik Samarasta (social harmony), Kutumb Prabodhan (family wisdom), environment, insistence on ‘Swa’ (self-reliance) and duties of citizens. These practices should be followed not only by the volunteers but also by their families, only then can we encourage others to follow them.

Hosabale said, “This year, across the country, our branches have increased by 3,626 compared to last year. Currently, there are 72,354 branches running in 45,411 locations. 6,645 new branches have been added this year. Additionally, the number of ‘weekly meetings’ has increased to 29,084 this year, which is 3,147 more than last year. The ‘monthly Sangh Mandals’ held once a month have now increased to a total of 11,382, which is also an increase of 750. Thus, we now have 101,438 units. This is an achievement for us in the context of the RSS centenary year.”
