There was another attempt to spread tension in Agra. A video is viral on social media, in which a Hindu Mahasabha worker can be seen pouring Gangajal on a grave inside the world famous Taj Mahal in Agra. The people who poured Gangajal also made the video. Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel have detained two youths named Vinesh and Shyam for pouring Gangajal on the grave.

The responsibility of security of Taj Mahal lies with CISF. CISF personnel have been assigned the task of searching and checking bags at the entry gate. They also manage the crowd inside the Taj premises and at the main mausoleum. But for the convenience of tourists, CISF personnel do not stop people from carrying water in bottles. Accused Vinesh and Shyam had gone inside with Gangajal in a Bisleri bottle.

In the video of this incident which is viral, a CISF jawan can also be seen. But when the youth was pouring water, no one stopped him. There were many people present there at that time.

Meera Rathore, district president of Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha Mahila Morcha, reached Taj Mahal on Monday morning with a Kanwar. She had Gangajal with her. She wanted to offer Gangajal to the Taj Mahal, but the police stopped her at the barrier at the western gate. There was a ruckus at the security barrier for several hours. Meera claimed that Tejo Mahalaya is a temple of Lord Shiva and she has come to offer Gangajal to the Shivling.

It is understood that when Meera Rathore was stopped, two youths of the same group were entrusted with the responsibility of sprinkling Gangajal on the grave of the Taj Mahal. They took advantage of the fact that CISF personnel do not check water bottles. However, the jawan posted near the grave did not stop the accused youth when water was spilled on the grave.

Earlier in 2019, a woman named Meena Diwakar also tried to take a Kanwar to the Taj Mahal. Meena Diwakar also performed Shiva Aarti there. According to reports, six cases have been registered against Meena Diwakar. All the cases are related to offering Kanwad and performing Shiv Aarti at the Taj Mahal.
