There is a possibility of a rift in the India alliance, AAP said – then we will get Congress out

#News Bureau 26,2024

Will the tussle between Congress and AAP now lead to a rift in the India Alliance? The ultimatum of Aam Aadmi Party seems to be a sign of a rift in the alliance. AAP has said that it will try to expel Congress from the India Alliance if action is not taken against Ajay Maken, who made a statement against Arvind Kejriwal, within 24 hours.

In fact, Ajay Maken had termed Arvind Kejriwal as anti-national and said that it was a mistake of the Congress to form an alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party in the Lok Sabha elections 2024, which now needs to be rectified. Congress has filed a complaint against Arvind Kejriwal in which he has been accused of misleading and deceiving the public by promising “non-existent” welfare schemes. AAP is angry with the Congress over this and held a press conference on Thursday.

Delhi Chief Minister Atishi and AAP’s senior leader Sanjay Singh held a press conference and said that the Congress party should take action against Ajay Maken and Youth Congress leaders. He said, ‘Congress leaders filed FIR against me and Kejriwal ji but till date no complaint has been made against BJP.

Sanjay Singh said, ‘Arvind Kejriwal ji made arrangements for electricity, water, health and education for the people of Delhi but Congress called Kejriwal ji a traitor. Congress has crossed all limits. Congress high command should take action against Ajay Maken within 24 hours, otherwise we will demand to separate Congress from India alliance.’

AAP leader accused Ajay Maken of working for BJP. He said that ‘Congress is in cahoots with Delhi BJP! Congress leader Ajay Maken reads the script sent by BJP and targets AAP leaders.’

Atishi said, ‘Congress has not accused any BJP leader of treason till date. Congress leaders filed FIR against me and Kejriwal ji but have not filed any complaint against BJP till date. Congress candidates in Delhi elections are being funded by BJP.’

The chief minister said, “If the Congress feels that we are anti-national then why did they contest the Lok Sabha elections in alliance with us? It is clear that Congress leaders have entered into some mutual understanding with the BJP to defeat the AAP and make the BJP win in Delhi.”

The complaint against Kejriwal was filed by the Youth Congress after two Delhi departments issued public notices saying that the proposed Mahila Samman Yojana and Sanjivani Yojana have not been notified by the government and they “do not exist”. The development comes at a time when Delhi Congress leaders have intensified their attack against the ruling party in Delhi.

Kejriwal had earlier announced that the AAP will contest the Delhi elections alone, where it is hoping to win for the fourth time.
