Sanjay Singh came out of jail on Wednesday. He was in jail for six months. His release order reached the jail at around quarter to eight in the night. After this he has been released from Tihar Jail. He was welcomed by a huge crowd of AAP supporters. His release came a day after he was granted bail by the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court order had said that no trail of money allegedly received by AAP as bribe for allotting liquor license was found.

As soon as he came out of Tihar Jail on bail, AAP MP Sanjay Singh said, ‘The time has not come to celebrate, it is time for struggle… Senior leaders of our party Arvind Kejriwal, Satyendra Jain and Manish Sisodia has been kept in custody’ behind bars. Later, Sanjay Singh reached Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence directly from jail and met his wife Sunita Kejriwal. A large number of AAP workers celebrated outside the jail on his release. AAP workers and Sanjay Singh supporters showered flowers on the party MP’s father Dinesh Singh.
