When BJP missed, the market cried, people lost ₹31 lakh crore due to record fall in Sensex-Nifty!

The stock market continued to decline on Tuesday. The BSE Sensex fell by 6%. This decline was mainly due to the weakened business sentiment due to the election results.
The stock market witnessed a huge decline on Tuesday. Due to this, investors have suffered a huge loss of Rs 31 lakh crore. During this, the BSE Sensex collapsed by about six percent. According to the trends of the counting of votes in the general elections in the country, the BJP has not got a clear majority in the Lok Sabha. Due to this, the business sentiment weakened. On Tuesday, the market capitalization of companies listed on the BSE fell by Rs 31,07,806.27 crore to Rs 3,94,83,705.27 crore.
Earlier, after a huge rise on Monday, the market capitalization of these companies had increased by Rs 13,78,630.4 crore to Rs 4,25,91,511.54 crore.
All-round selling in Adani Group shares
With the stock market crashing, the shares of Adani Group companies fell sharply. Most of them reached the lower circuit limit. The market capitalization of the 10 listed companies of the group fell by Rs 3.64 lakh crore. At the end of trading, Adani Ports shares plunged 21.26 percent, Adani Energy Solutions 20 percent, the group’s flagship company Adani Enterprises 19.35 percent, Adani Green Energy 19.20 percent.
अडानी टोटल गैस 18.88 फीसदी, एनडीटीवी 18.52 फीसदी, अडानी पावर 17.27 फीसदी और अम्बुजा सीमेंट 16.88 फीसदी नीचे आया। वहीं, एसीसी का शेयर 14.71 फीसदी और अडानी विल्मर 9.98 फीसदी फिसला। कारोबार के दौरान समूह की 10 कंपनियों में से आठ निचले सर्किट पर पहुंच गई थीं। समूह की 10 सूचीबद्ध कंपनियों का बाजार पूंजीकरण 3,64,366.12 करोड़ रुपये घटकर 15,78,346.79 करोड़ रुपये रहा। सोमवार को समूह की सूचीबद्ध कंपनियों का बाजार पूंजीकरण 19,42,712.91 करोड़ रुपये था।
