Pawan Kheda’s question – Why are India’s biggest meat exporters Hindus?
Now will the government also decide from whom a Hindu should buy goods?

The answer to this is that even when pure vegetarian is written on the board of a hotel, we still do not ask the name of the hotel owner, chef, waiter. Having ‘Pure Vegetarian’, ‘Jhatka’, ‘Halal’ or ‘Kosher’ written on any street vendor or dhaba helps the eater to choose the food of his choice. But who will benefit from writing the name of the dhaba owner?
Controversy is rising after Uttar Pradesh Police asked eateries on the Kanwar Yatra route in Muzaffarnagar to display the names of their owners. Kanwar Yatra is going to start from 22nd July. Congress party has also given a strong reaction on this. Congress spokesperson Pawan Kheda said-
Fruit vegetable vendors and restaurant dhaba owners will be required to write their names on the board on the route of Kanwar Yatra. We do not know whether this is a step taken in the direction of economic boycott of Muslims or economic boycott of Dalits, or both. Pawan Kheda said that those who wanted to decide who would eat what, will now also decide who will buy what from whom? When this was opposed, it was said that when Halal is written on the boards of dhabas, then you do not protest.

Senior Congress leader Pawan Kheda raised the question – India’s big meat exporters are Hindus. Does meat sold by Hindus become Dal Bhaat? Similarly, won’t the mango, guava sold by an Altaf or Rashid turn into meat?
Violation of Article 17 of the Constitution AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has again given a statement on this issue. Owaisi said-
“We condemn this because it is a violation of Article 17 of the Constitution, which talks about untouchability. So the Uttar Pradesh government is promoting untouchability…Secondly, since the Uttar Pradesh government has ordered , Muslim employees have been removed from all the shops in Muzaffarnagar.. Will you work for only one community? Where is the Constitution? I challenge Yogi Adityanath to issue a written order.. ..”
In a statement, Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) general secretary Bajrang Bagra appealed to the people to remain alert and said, if they find any person from the minority community selling puja material near temples and other Hindu religious places, immediately contact the local Inform the administration.
The VHP claimed that Muslims were selling puja material at various Hindu pilgrimage sites by hiding their identities and urged all state governments to take effective steps to stop them from running such shops so that the faith of Hindus is not hurt. After this the Muzaffarnagar Police issued an order. Muzaffarnagar SSP Abhishek Singh confirmed this to the media and said, “Preparations for Kanwar Yatra have started. In our jurisdiction, which is approximately 240 km, All eateries – hotels, dhabas, roadside vendors have been instructed to display the names of their owners or shopkeepers. This is being done so that there is no confusion among the Kanwadis and no allegations are made in the future, which could create a law and order situation. The SSP claimed that everyone is following it of their own free will.
